All the elements of expression have the power to transform our lives in infinite ways. Elements like movement/dance, vocal expression, spoken word, costume/masks all contribute to the process of transformation. I am excited to work with people in ways that are healing, loving, and deeply inspiring. I draw on my strength as a performer and as an artist to help facilitate these personal rituals. It is my love of self-expression that inspires me to create this aspect of my work. It is a celebration of the capacity of human nature to create, destroy, renovate, reinvent, and invent. We are a very powerful being, and recognizing this is such an amazing gift to those of us who struggle and have struggled with suffering in any form.
This aspect of my work is completely subject to the
needs of the person I work with, and takes shape in the unique way that is right for them. In this manner, it is hard to describe what kind of experience this might have for you. Maybe we look for deeper meaning to our lives, maybe we have a need to call attention to something that has been ignored in ourselves, and maybe we are looking to bring forth talents that are dormant. This and more can bring us to the work of curative/therapeutic ritual.
